Default Renaming data folder in Outlook

Hi all,
My Zimbra data folder in Outlook was big, so, our IT manager created an Archive folder for me.
In Outlook I have opened that folder. It is displayed as "Zimbra - archive@..."
I would like to change that folder name to simply "Zimbra - Archive"
Can anyone help me doing this?
Thanks,
Jorge

That's your display name on the server. Have the IT manager just change the display name to Archive.

Well I may be confused. I guess it depends on what he created for you. Did he create an account for you in the admin console? What exactly did he do in the first place?

He created an email adress named archive@"ourdomain".
Inside that email adress he created folders shared with several users, one of them, with me.
That folder have my name, within archive...
In my Outlook, in Zimbra Connector, there's a share link to this email "archive@ourdomain".
I have selected ro show this shared folder but in my Outlook the name is "Zimbra - archive@ourdomain".
Can this be changed?
Thanks,
Jorge

Well -- you say he created an email address. If he did it in the admin console, then he can just change the display name to Archive. Then you can close the share and reopen it, and it should display the way you want.

He configured this like you've said. The display name is "Archive".
When I enter in webmail it is displayed correctly. The problem is inside Outlook!
The same occured with "Hotmail Outlook connector". All the "hotmail" accounts where displayed with the email address.
Please see this website to understand:

I'd love to see a screenshot of the GAL in your admin console -- or least the Accounts tab in your admin console. I'm not a server or GAL expert, but somehow, I think the display name is set with the email address.

In your first post, you say:

"In Outlook I have opened that folder"

How are you opening it? Did you rename it to a .pst and do File->Open Outlook Data File? I wouldn't think you would have shared it (Open Other User's Mailbox), since you had the Hide in GAL checkbox on (which could be the issue).
