Default Rules not working

Using Outlook 2007 SP2, OLK 5.0.18

When trying to create rules, they will work as designed when you run them manually, but they don't work as expected as e-mail comes in (automatically). Has anyone run into this?

Which rules are you talking about? Local Outlook rules (Tools-> Rules and Alerts) or Zimbra Rules (Tools-> Zimbra Server Rules)? Since you're talking about running rules manually, I assume you are talking about the former. If you want local Outlook rules to run, the registry key:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Zimbra\EnableLocalRules must be set to 1.

Default zimbra rules

I'm setting up zimbra server rules using Tools, Zimbra Rules in outlook 2003 and I can't get those to work automatically. Any suggestion? I'm having the same problem when trying to set up client side rules in outlook.

They should be working fine. 5.0.18 is a pretty old connector, but they should all work. You should probably go to a later connector though.

A couple of things to look for:

When you create the rule, you can specify any or all conditions. Make sure it is doing what you want.

Also, there is a check box about processing additional filter rules. If you have the "Do not process additional filter rules" box checked, then it will stop processing rules after the run you run. Order is important.
