    Unhappy Outlook Calendar Sync Problem

    Hello,

    I am having a problem with calendar sync using outlook connector.
    Here is a symptom,
    A user created a schedule on outlook but this new entry was not synchronized to the server. So the user cannot see schedule entries on his web mail which he created on his outlook.

    If he creates a schedule on webmail, it is synchronized to outlook.

    He is using;
    Outlook 2007 SP2
    Windows XP SP3
    Outlook Connector version 6.0.57974
    Zimbra server 6.0.4_GA_2038/2039 (2009-12-16)

    Did anyone experience same problems before?

    Nope. But, what have you seen in the /opt/zimbra/log/sync.log?
    And you should be able to see it in the mailbox.log as well (SetAppointmentRequest).

    grep 'user' sync.log
    grep 'user' mailbox.log

    (Of course, 'user' should be at least a portion of the user's name)

    Hello,

    Thank you very much for your post.
    I checked logs and did not find "SetAppointmentRequest" logs from this particular users account.

    I also check if "Adding CalendarItem" logs from this users and I found some entries.

    Right now, this users calendar entries cannot be viewed from other users.
    I double checked his outlook calendar setting if he allowed others to view his entries and the setting was OK.

    Are there any points I should check for?

    What do you mean by a "schedule"? Did you do File->Open Other User's Mailbox on Outlook?

    What are the exact steps you did? Did you create the share on Outlook, webmail, etc.?
