Default Zimbra Server Rules (Outlook2007)

Hello,

I have a question about zimbra server rules on Outlook 2007 w/Zimbra Outlook connector version 6.0.5846.5.

Users are trying to create the rules such as " if sender is "@example.com" then move emails to test folder. "
But as far as I checked, I was able to create this rule on Zimbra Webmail and I was not able to create this rule on Outlook.
With outlook, I can only choose senders from Contact or GAL, so I cannot set sender to "@example.com"
Is this a known problem or limitation with Zimbra Outlook Connector?

Hit the Select button in the dialog box you show in the picture. Then you will get the Outlook Select users dialog. The type what you want in the edit box next to the From-> button and say OK. Then say OK again.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply.
Please see the attached screenshots.

I got error to create the rule on outlook.

I think problem here is that we can only choose "FROM ADDRESS" from addresses in outlook address book.
Since I cannot create address book entry with only "@testdomain.com", I cannot create the rule such as "if the email from "@testdomain.com" then move all emails to test folder."

Is this bug or known limitation?

Thank you

Try typing *@testdomain.com. That will work.

You're right. It is a limitation. It's actually a bug in the server, even though it's filed against Outlook -- bug 31780. The server API has changed. There much more chance of bug 39355 getting fixed soon. Vote for it if you need this.
