Default Folder shared to user does not appear in outlook

Hello
A user here has got a shared folder mounted to their account, visible and accessible from the web client. When they use outlook 2003 with ZCO, the folder does not appear - is there something that needs to be done to view this?
Thanks,

The admin user (who shared the folder) is not shown in the list that appears. Would the next step allow them to choose the folder they want, or will it just mount every folder that it can? (not what we want)
Thanks,

It mounts all folders that are shared by that user

I have a similar issue along these lines. I have a calendar shared to the public and outlook will not open via this method.

When I share the calendar specifically to a user, under that specific users Outlook I can open the calendar via File Open Other User's Mailbox. However, when I set the share permissions to public, or share it to everyone@domain.com it fails.

The behaviour is weird. I'll open it the same way and Outlook will hang for roughly 10 seconds (hang meaning Windows thinks the task is unresponsive, if I moved the window around nothing redraws, etc). When it becomes responsive again it does nothing. The only indication something happened is when I go back to the mail tab I have a new item in the left tree menu named "Zimbra Delegate Folders". When I click on that I receive an error message of "The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened".

I'm wondering what the proper procedure for giving everyone public read access in Outlook to a Zimbra Calendar resource is, aside from explicitly adding each account.

When you share to Public, it just puts Public there and it should come back immediately. There is nowhere to put an address. Does it hang when you just say Public? If so, enable logging (just logging and http logging), go through your repro steps, and post the zco log.

In Outlook under File->Open->Other users mailbox?

edit: Always use FQDN's kiddies. Seems that mail would resolve to a hostname but calendar sharing wouldnt work without setting it as mail.domain.com in account settings.

:/

No -- when you share (right click on folder; Properties, Sharing, Add)
