Default Unable to validate account against Zimbra server

We have several different networks and cannot get this connector to work on one network in particular. On all, but one, network where we tested (to make sure it wasn't the destination URL, Office, fat vs thin clients, the connector, etc..) the connector works just fine.

On the one network, the connector says the account could not be validated; however, the web interface works just fine. So we ran a WinHTTPTrace and got the following output..

I know it's timing out but no idea why.

Slow network? Try bumping up your timeouts in the registry on the machine where you are having trouble with Outlook:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Zimbra\Connection

Set all the values to decimal 900000 (15 minutes). I assume they're set to 1 minute now.

I made those changes and even rebooted; however, I received the same error and it timed out in the same amount of time it's been timing out, which is 1 minutes.

2 questions:

1) What version of Zimbra Connector for Outlook are you running?

2) Do these values also exist in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ZIMBRA\Connection, and if so, what are they?

This is the version of connector.. 5.0.2992.16

I don't have problems with it on the other two networks it was tried on. As for those registry keys, no, they are not in the user section. I actually checked that earlier but since I didn't see anything, I wasn't sure if creating them would do anything.

The fact that you changed all those registry values, yet it's still timing out after a minute seems like a problem. Can you enable ZCO logging (just logging and http logging), repro the problem, and post the log?

Thanks

FWIW, in the case of connection timeout settings, if they exist in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE (which they should), creating them in HKEY_CURRENT_USER will have no effect.

The log generated is about 4 times bigger than what is allowed in a single post. I can split the log over multiple posts are if you're looking for a particular section, I can post just that if you give me some idea of what to look for.
