Hope this is what your after, if you open control panel and double click Mail, then select Email Accounts, then select the one your using, it should then bring up the Zimbra settings, like your mail address and username pass etc. you have 4 tabs at the top I think the one at the end is ZDB Configuration select that and you can choose to hold your Mailbox in an external location.

It may vary slightly as Im running 2007.

Hope thats what your after

You can use Zimbra to move your ZDB for you. like before if you go to the zimbra settings go to the ZDB Configuration tab if you select Store ZDB in the external folder option and choose your new hard drive or a drive with more space, then under that a Move ZDB button will become highlighted if you click this it should move your profile over to your new area.

note ive tried this and its worked but I was using 2003. But it shouldnt matter what office you are using.

Hope that helps

Don't just copy the .zdb. Use the Move ZDB button on the configuration tab. Remember to hit OK after you hit Move ZDB. I believe this can now be done from within Outlook, but I recommend doing it from the Control Panel Mail applet. Note that it will put the .zdb in <yourfolder>\Microsoft\Outlook.
