Default Outlook Free/Busy Not Working

Hi,
This used to work, but now it does not for some reason.

System summary:
Server- ZCS 6.02 network edition
Client- Win7 32bit, Outlook 2007

Error: Outlook "General Failure..."

Symptoms:
  • In Outlook, open calendar event
  • Go to "Scheduling" to see who is invited and if they are free or busy
  • My Free/Busy shows
  • Other users' free/busy does not
  • Outlook "General Error..." pops up in system tray as soon as I click on the "Scheduling" icon
  • Webclient free/busy continues to work as expected

I saw elswhere in the forums that this type of issue can be caused by a commercial SSL cert being overwritten during an upgrade. We did upgrade from 6.01 to 6.02 when 6.02 came out, but looking at the cert area, it looks like it is still using the cert I created with our internal CA which was previously working as expected.

OK so Bug 43787 – Free/Busy end time calculation incorrect in the new year has been reopened and is unresolved.

This must be a new year problem.

When I go to the URL from the Outlook Free/Busy URL field in settings and try and open that URL in a browser, I get this error:


HTTP ERROR 400

Problem accessing /service/pubcal/freebusy.ifb. Reason:

Requested range is too large (max 366 days)

And just for clarification, the SSL cert does not expire until August 2010...

Workarounds are ok, but I'd like to see a fix. Any chance this gets taken care of in 6.0.5?

It's already been fixed in 6.0.5. In fact, we are putting out a 6.0.4 patch which should be on the support portal later today.

OK, I guess the workaround didn't stand out. One of the threads was a mixture of English and French and I didn't have the patience to do the translation.

I'll take another look since it was not at all clear to me when I initially review the two links posted.

Support portal doesn't mention 43787. The list stops at:

42788 ZCO not syncing new tags from the server
42993 Outlook crash with mapi32.dll error when Zimbra account Surname includes certain (East European) characters
43432 ZCO creates edit change records for items without Zimbra Id's
43433 ZCO incorrectly retries some failures
43551 Only show calendar tracking option from ZCOLogCtl if reg key set
43635 "About Zimbra Connector for Outlook" shows wrong server version
