Default Installing ZCO to an existing profile?

Is there any way to install get ZCO to install to the existing profile not a new profile? I've done a quick but fruitless search of the forums in addition to checking Google but I can't seem to find an answer.

We've had a few complaints from our clients about the import procedure with exporting and readding PST files to profiles and if possible we'd like to make it a bit simpler for them.

Do you mean sync stuff to an existing non-zimbra profile? That's not supported.

I'm not exactly sure what you want. Can you give a more specific example?

You can always create a Zimbra profile first, then choose that profile.

If you want the old mail on the zimbra server, you have to use the import wizard.

If you do not care whether the mail gets uploaded to Zimbra and the old PSTs are from a non-MAPI account (pop, imap, or hotmail), then try this (untested):

Create a fresh zimbra profile;

Add a new POP/IMAP account within the Zimbra profile, with incoming server 127.0.0.1 and a valid outbound SMTP;

Configure Send/Receive to never poll the dummy account;

Quit Outlook;

Overwrite the blank POP PST with your old one.

This is what I'm after in particular. It's not that big a worry, I'll just update our documentation and inform our staff.
