[SOLVED] ZCO questions

Dear All,

testing ZCS5.0.20 + ZCO with Office 2003(SP3) , and have several questions:

1. how could user switch to different user in Outlook + ZCO? Can ZCO support two (or more) profile so that users can pick his/her own profile when launch outlook?

2. if administrator installs ZCO on a public PC computer, and suppose that there are 3 users who will use this PC computer regularly, and they will login this PC computer by their own Active Directory account/password first. Can ZCO support such behavior?

Hey I dont know if this is what your after exactly but ive attached a screenshot of the Mail option in your control pannel in windows, you should see an option to prompt which profile to use when you start up outlook, I use this on a few computers around my area.

As for using your admin account aslong as you choose the install to all profiles it will work with everyone on that PC, I also currently do this as the admin account is the onyl one with admin rights so I install everything on that account

did you mean i should login AD domain administrator to install ZCO on this PC computer, so that everyone who logins this computer will be able to use Outlook+ZCO?

(i'm sorry i'm really not a MS AD user)

Hey,

If the profile you are running is currently an admin you can install it on your own profile, ive put a picture attached again to check to see if your admin.

Just go to your control pannel and select user accounts (mabye different as im running Windows 7) then select your user and that should tell you what you are.

If your not admin you need to log on as one, then you can install the connector for all users and anyone on that pc should get access to it, it should be the same with office.
