Default ZCS Connector install on Outlook 2003 problem

Hello,

After installation of ZCS Connector, first run Outlook 2003 prompt for Zimbra server settings. When I entered all information, and clicked accept, i got info:

Code:
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8169.0, stamp 465f28e3, faulting module lslib32.dll, version 6.0.5736.2, stamp 4add5631, debug? 0, fault address 0x002562ef.
And Outlook crashed, and i had to reinstall it.

# zmcontrol -v
Release 6.0.2_GA_1912.RHEL5_20091020173119

# Version of connector
ZimbraOlkConnector-6.0.2_GA_1912_6.0.5736.2.msi

I put in attachment full log file generated while msi was installed with msiexec.exe

Bug 42629? Do you have Outlook 2003 SP3? If not, you could crash.

Could also have been bug 42644, fixed in 6.0.4, coming out in a month or so. We could check if that was it. There should be a core dump in %temp%\zco-cores. You can post that.

If that's it, there is a workaround. Just go back into Outlook, and create a profile. Then initial sync -- should work. That bug just happened when you tried this right after the install, on the first run of Outlook.

You have something seriously wrong with your installation. I have never seen your crash before, but basically it seems like you don't have MSXML installed on your machine.

We are trying to do a CoCreateInstance on IID_IXMLDOMDocument2, and it is failing with 0x80040111. We shouldn't crash in this situation, but there is clearly something wrong with your installation.

I would search the web for something like this:

CoCreateInstance 0x80040111 IID_IXMLDOMDocument2

and see what you come up with. FWIW, 0x80040111 is MAPI_E_LOGON_FAILED. You can also search for that.
