Deleted Mail on Server is Deleted in Outlook

Hello,

I've noticed that when I delete email from the web interface to my Zimbra account, the mail that I deleted is also deleted from Outlook (which has the Zimbra connector, v5.0.2988.16). This is probably an intentional feature, but is there a way to disable it? I would like downloaded email to remain on my hard drive for archival purposes.

It's intentional -- people would scream if we weren't exactly synced. If you want to archive, why don't you just use the archive feature in Outlook?

I figured.

I don't have anything against the Outlook archive feature. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something simple...it seems reasonable to expect that I can download email and it not be deleted if I delete it on the server. But I also understand the need for synchronization. Such a dilemma.
