Outlook 2007 & Windows 7 Problem

Greetings,

I wonder if you guys could help me im currently running Office 2007 with SP2 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit the server and client are both running Version 6 of the connector.

I've recently formatted my pc and done a fresh install of Windows 7 to test it out for all my users, im getting problems with the connector not performing correctly my mail works fine as in the sync but the options for Out Of Office, Server Rules etc are not in the tools bar as they normally would be.

After checking the compatibility of the program it gave me this conclusion which is attached.

It seems that Windows 7 doesnt like Zimbra this for me is abit of a pain, ive re-installed the connector and office to make sure is there anythign else i could be doing to help solve this?

Could your problem be related to the issues discussed at ZCO 6.0 - Issues and Bug 40876 - ZCO v6 fails to register DLLs. All ZCO menu items are missing?

i have the same problem on windows 7

and the manual regsvr32 does not solve the problem

I've been using the 5.0.x version of the server and connector with Outlook 2007 on XP fine for the past several months. I'm currently testing out Windows 7 and having issues with this. All the mail functionality seems to work fine, but my calendar is not sync-ing at all. I show 0 calendar entries in outlook.

Okay, weird, after being installed and on since yesterday, the appointements magically started appearing this morning...so maybe it is working?

I am having similar issues.
I am running zimbra 6.01 connector on windows 7 64bit and server 2008 64bit, with outlook 2007 sp2.
I re-registered the dll files before setting up any profiles. All mail features work including my calendar, however my GAL does not sync.

Any ideas appreciated.

My issue was fixed by disabling the external GAL and changing it back to just Internal.
I will have to look more closely into this issue later.
