Default Local Failure Notice Every Time = No Sync.

I have been having problems with ZCO. Every time I click send/receive a Local Failure Notice email is generated and nothing is synchronized.

I tried following the steps here:
http://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?tit...tes-ZCO-Repair

because that error message is generated when ZCO is removed and outlook is started, but that doesn't fix it.

When ZCO is still installed, the following is generated:
Code:
Local Failures were detected. No action is required.
This e-mail was generated for technical support purposes.

Sync Type: Delta Sync

Sync Token (before request): 133569

Sync Token (most current): 133569

Store: Zimbra - Moore, ...

Computer Name: ...

Version: 5.0.3064.18

Error IDs:
id (40525) type(folder)
The attachment is generated as an XML attachment to the Local Failure Notice Email.

I'm using Outlook 2007 and Windows XP, connecting to zimbra found on mail.gatech.edu

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Are there other attachments, like a mime.txt file? If not, can you enable zco logging via zcologctl and post the log?

I've attached the log file below.

I generated 3 Local Failure Notices before closing outlook and turning off verbose logging again.

the txt file is over 6mb, so I zipped it up.

Are you having other issues with this profile? It seems that the problem is that you are trying to sync a new folder named Apple Mail To Do [id 40525]down from the server. We are getting an error:

ERROR - could not open the parent folder of the new folder
error processing item type: folder item id: 40525

The parent folder is id 1, which is the top level folder, the one in Outlook where it says: Zimbra - Moore, Daniel H

So it sounds like this profile is messed up. Have you tried creating a new profile?

Or can you just delete the Apple Mail To Do folder on the server (via the web client) and see if that fixes the problem? [obviously you'd need to save your stuff in there]

that would be the problem.
Thanks for that.

Might I suggest posting more log information to the Local Failure Notices in a user friendly msg?
Or even directions on how to enable logs for more information?

That folder was placed in Zimbra thanks to iSync, which I still haven't quite gotten to work yet.

Thanks again though.

We have all sorts of ideas for local failure messages, improved logging, etc. We just have to find the time to do all this stuff.
