No "Local Failure Notice" messages since January, when she had a much earlier version of the connector. Sync failures are going to Inbox. (By the way, how exactly do you find them if they're not?)

I can't reproduce the problem. I changed the Message-Id and ical UID: of the original invite RFC822 sources and sent them to the problem account. They all stayed; no auto-deletes.

I've left ZCO logging enabled and will grab them if the problem recurs. It has been several days, and it hasn't happened.

I'm attempting to broaden the field by contacting others:

Code:
egrep 'ZimbraConnectorForOutlook/.*moving Appointment .* to Folder Trash ' /opt/zimbra/log/mailbox.log
I think I found someone else experiencing the problem intermittently, but haven't been able to convince them that their appointments are actually missing. Usually I have the opposite problem.

I'm getting reports of a constellation of problems that sound similar to this one.

Unfortunately I've already upgraded my test machine to ZCO 5.0.20, and the people reporting the problem are using ZCO 5.0.18. And I've also misplaced the 5.0.18 installer. Can anyone help me out so I don't have to reinstall ZCS just to get the old installer?

Nevermind, I found it via some creative URL editing within the support portal.

We are hearing similar grumbling about meetings dropping off calendars or just not showing after a user schedules and invite. This seemed start after we upgraded to v6. The logs show the meetings being created

I haven't been able to reproduce the error but in one case that was fairly well-documented by users, I could see the meeting being created in the logs, but not the deletion.

Also, at least one case entailed a meeting created on behalf of another user by an assistant, to which a third user was invited.

In regard to travisb's post -- could you be experiencing bug 43107? We just fixed this, and it has been around forever. Hopefully, this is it.

Yes that bug 43107 sounds just like what is happening. Hopefully that gets added to 6.0.4

It's already in. Should be shipped in about 10 days.

Some of our users have reported a similar problem. This is what's happening:
1. User1 creates an appointment and invites user2
2. User2 accepts the appointment.
3. User1 receives an email that the appointment User2 accepted does not exist.

I have tried to log this events but it hasnt't happend when I have logging on yet.

This should be fixed by the pre-GA 6.0.4 and 5.0.22 connectors now available on support.zimbra.com.

I've been having multiple reports of meeting organizers losing their meetings. Just now I have one well-documented (if slightly atypical) instance:

1. User has ZCO 5.0.3255.22
2. In the Calendar context, he created a new meeting using New > Meeting Request. (I.e. from the ribbon-y menubar, not the File menu, and not by dragging a meeting time on the calendar.)
3. Various attendees sent their acceptances, which appear in the user's inbox.
4. In Outlook, if the user opens the meeting and clicks Tracking, the Response column shows None for all attendees.
5. If the user looks for the meeting in ZWC, it isn't there at all.

What makes this slightly atypical is that in other cases, the meeting is missing in both Outlook and ZWC. (Some of those might be bug #43107 but I don't think all of them are.)

Fortunately in this case the user had full ZCO logging turned on and I've got the logs from the time period when the meeting was created up through when the user discovered the problem. I can also supply server-side mailbox.log, sync.log, audit.log...whatever you need. Just let me know where I should send them.
