Default Archive folders out of sync

How can I force outlook messages to be synced back to zimbra mailbox. I imported archive folders into outlook 2003, the web UI is showing all the folders that I imported but no messages in them, however I can see all messages in their folders in outlook.

The zdb file is approx 3G and the zimbra mailbox is approx 800mb, so it hasnt uploaded the messages to the server, how can I force the messages to be uploaded to the zimbra server.

Server Version : 5.0.15_GA_2851.RHEL5_64_20090310170650

I have re-installed the zimbra connector but no change.

I have not been able to duplicate this, but I saw an old bug (14050) lying around that could be related.

Perhaps you could send an exact scenario of what you did, and I can try to repro this.

As far as getting the messages up to Zimbra, I suppose you can create a temporary folder, move the Outlook messages into that folder, sync that folder to Zimbra, then in the Zimbra web client, move them to where you want them to be, sync from Outlook, and get rid of the Outlook temp folder. Kind of ugly, but it would work.

Unless I'm missing something here, which is quite possible.

Steps taken ..
1. install the ZCO on the client
2. Ran PST import tool on the outlook.pst file
3. Started Outlook and send/receive
4. Imported archive PST file using Outlook.

The Archive PST has several folders .. around 100 and it will be very painful to copy messages to temporary folder ..

Just wondering, if the zdb file seems to have all the messages, can I rename the current mailbox and try running the PST import against the zdb file, I read somewhere that the zdb file is same format as .pst file and can be renamed .. is this true.

Yeah -- you can rename the .zdb to a .pst and try it
