Default Importer vs. Connector

Are these two separate things or do they both allow synchronization between the Zimbra client and Outlook? I'm a little confused.

ZCO (Zimbra Connector for Outlook) allows you to use Outlook to access your messaging data on the Zimbra server.

The import wizards are for copying data from outlook to ZCS. IE, you can import an old PST to ZCS or the contents of an Exchange account to ZCS.
