Default Free/Busy in Outlook only shows some calendar items, not all

I've gotten the Outlook Connector to work, and I've configured it so I can see the free/busy times of my co-workers, but the only free/busy times of theirs I can see are those of calendar items I have invited them to. If they add something to their own calendars, it doesn't show up when I view their free/busy times. This all works fine in the Zimbra online client; I can see the free/busy times of all their calendar items. It's just in Outlook where I can't. Is this a bug? Is there any fix?

It may be a bug... Did you try restarting Outlook or trying to refresh the Free Busy. Not sure if this is cached. You can also try testing the the free busy URL directly and see what it returns.

Yep, I've restarted many times and refreshed the free/busy information and it still has the same problem.

I think I know what the problem is, though. I entered the following URL in the "search location" in Outlook prefs the way the forums said to do:
http://mail.hardtorememberurl.com/se...l/freebusy.ifb
?acct=charlie@hardtorememberurl.com

because my account name (temporary, in this case) is charlie@hardtorememberurl.com. What seems to be happening is that when I'm scheduling an event in Outlook and add nick@hardtorememberurl.com as an attendee, it goes to the above URL to look for his free/busy info. The problem is that because my account is specified in the URL, it only returns MY free/busy info! What URL should I use to get everyone's free/busy info instead of just mine? I tried taking the ?acct=charlie@hardtorememberurl.com off of the end, but it gave me an error.

http://your-server-name/service/pubc...name%@%server%

replace your-server-name with your server name. leave the rest in tact.

in other words make sure it ends with

acct=%name%@%server%

Yep, that did it! Thanks! I didn't realize that I wasn't supposed to replace those items in the URL...

Unhappy Cannot see free busy info in Outlook

I have installed the outlook connector. I can download send and receive email.
I can find all the users in the Global Address Book. I cannot see their calendars in Outlook.
I can see their calendars in the web client. I can scedual appointments in the webcliend and they show up in Outlook.

I receive a popup alert box from Outlook with this message
" Unable to display the folder. Your profile is not configured to support this operation for this user."

When the connector was installed the Free/Busy search location was set to this.
http://192.168.80.81/servlet/webdav....erver=%SERVER%
I have searched the forums for a fix and tried this URL.
http://192.168.80.81/service/pubcal/...name%@%server%

http://192.168.80.81/servlet/webdav....&server=%SERVE
http://192.168.80.81/service/pubcal/...=%name%@%serve
http://192.168.80.81/service/pubcal/...192.168.80.81%
http://192.168.80.81/service/pubcal/...192.168.80.81%
I have also tried to connect to a browser with the 4 above URL’s and receive this message from Tomcat.

HTTP Status 400 - acct required
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
type Status report
message acct required
description The request sent by the client was syntactically incorrect (acct required).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache Tomcat/5.5.15

I am running the ZCS network addition 3.0.1_GA_160.RHEL4 on Fedora core 4
and have installed the outlook connector that came with it.
I am using Outlook 2003 build 11.5608.5606.
OS is Windows XP home addition Version 2002 on a P4 M 1.7GHz

see here for more info on setting the f/b url in outlook.
http://wiki.zimbra.com/index.php?title=OutlookFreeBusy

you will not see other users calendars in outlook with the current connector. that feature is slated for a future release.
