All Shared calendars called "Calendar"

Hi All,

Using 5.0.11 (NE) with the connector on Outlook 2007, the issue is that when you add all shared calendars (File->open->other user's mailbox) they are all called "Calendar in Zimbra - First LastName", and when you have 7+ tabs open at the same time all the Tabs read "Calendar" which is a bit useless

So I was wondering if there is a way to rename the calendar, its not possible if go into Properties.

This is a MAJOR problem for us, as well.

We need the ability to rename the calendars - or they shouldn't be named "Calendar" when added to Outlook.

If you login to the web client, and rename the calendar there, does it propagate out to Outlook?

No, we cannot rename the Default Calendar name which is "Calendar"....on web client

Not the default calendar, all the shared calendars. You can rename the shared calendars that are accessible in your account, to whatever you want.

If you rename a shared calendar in the web client it does not propogate to Outlook. Having multiple users' shared calendars all show up as "Calendar" is a bit of a nuisance...

It shows you the store name, i.e.

Calendar in Zimbra - user1
Calendar in Zimbra - user2
etc.

Hello All,

Just wanted to see if this thread was still active and find out if anyone has had the ability to change the name of the shared calendars via Outlook with the Outlook connector.

I have the latest connector installed, clients are running Windows 7 (32), with office 2010/2007. We have a few users that have many shared calendars opened and they all say "Calendar".

Any help would be appreciated.
