I removed the store for the inactive Michael Miller account but the problem is still happening. As far as the desktop search, I am using Microsoft's Windows Search and it is critical to my job.
Just as a thought...have you tried deleting the mail account from the local machine, and then recreating it? That ought to pull the mail back in fresh.
Are you using any search tools like I am that might be contributing to the problem? Microsoft Desktop Search or Google Desktop Search? I use Microsoft Search but I can't live without it to do my job.
