File->Open Other User's Folder is really an Exchange thing. We don't really control that code. Also, sometimes, it gets mysteriously greyed out for no apparent reason.
In any case, either command gives you the whole mailbox. We don't have a way yet in Outlook just to open one folder, so Open Other User's Folder is misleading. We're thinking of getting rid of it altogether. You should use Open->Other User's Mailbox.
Note that in version 6.0, we will detect shares from the server, and there will also be a dialog box where you can mount and unmount shares (bug 30465). |
