Static ZCO link?

Is there a symlink or anything that I've been overlooking that will always point to the newest version of the ZCO? Or even a way to make the downloads directory browsable by non-admins? Having to login to the admin interface and copy/paste the links to the ZCO (and iSync, etc) into support docs for the help desk is just one more hassle to deal with after every upgrade. Is there a better way that I'm overlooking?

/downloads/index.html is stable.

A regular cron job doing something like ln -sf `ls -t Out*.msi|head -1` zco-latest.msi would probably work for a deep link.
