Default imapsync worked but outlook connector wont sync correctly

i run
---------------------------------

imapsync --nosyncacls --syncinternaldates --host1 mail.domain.com --user1 user1 --password1 password1 --host2 mail2.domain.com --user2 user2 --password2 password2

-------------------------------
All the emails sync fine. I can check all the messages fine with imap and pop. however outlook connector does not sync correctly. It creates all the folders right and it only gets one email from the server. Im not sure if imap has an index file that is out of whack or not. The calendar also does not sync. I have not tried an addressbook yet. There is no sync error in outlook either. any help would be appreciate.

Are you using the outlook connector or just Outlook as an IMAP client?

When using just IMAP (outlook 2003) creates folder inbox/sent/junk mail folders and all messages for those folders are there. Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 only creates the INBOX folder and all the messages for inbox are there. When useing
ZimbraOlkConnector-3.0.1_M1_158_3.0.775.msi all folders are created (drafts,Inbox, jrush, junk, outbox, sent, sync issues, trash, searh folders) and there is only one email in the inbox folder (160'ish should be there) and all the other folders are empty. On accounts that I leave default and not import messages they work perfectly as expected for IMAP/POP/Outlook connector.

How are you importing the mail?

strange. Today i open up Thunderbird (using imap) and now its creating the same boxes like outlook did. (inbox, sent, trash, junk Email). maybe i just needed to close thunderbird and reopen it? im not sure if i did that last night or not. It still did not create All the folders in the account like they appear when i sign in through the web interface.

I imported the emails using imapsync. the syntax used is in my first post in this thread.
