Default Missing GAL using Zimbra Desktop with exchange

At present we are testing the Zimbra desktop as we consider using Zimbra Collaboration Suite 5.0. We are still using exchange. After a short period of time after opening the Zimbra desktop a message will appear that the GAL successfully updated, but, we can not find the GAL in side the desktop. Can you help?

I'm experiencing the same problem using outlook 2003 and 2007 with zcs 5.0.9 or 5.0.7 connector I discovered that the problem appeard using internla GAL I configured an external GAL ant it's woring fine, first time I had to force GAL sync from sen-receive.

Do I have to open a BUG ?

5.0.9 connector has additional fix for 'Missing GAL' problem.

Please can you better explain your reply ?
I'm experiencing problems using outlook 2003/2000 ZCS 5.0.9 and its connector.
I tried to use other version to check the problem.
IMHO the problem is on the server side because if I use an externale GAL everything is working fine.
GAL Internal bad, GAL external good

I thought that you are using 5.0.7 connector with 5.0.9 server

What is your set up? do you have multiple domains set up? are you seeing the GAL for one domain but not the other when you set the GAL to be internal? What are you seeing in the web client if you log in as the same user?
