problem / bug with uninstaller

I just installed the lastest zimbra and using ZimbraOlkConnector-3.0.1_M1_158_3.0.775.msi .. I install it and it works fine. Then when i uninstall it using the setup file all goes well. Now outlook get an error everytime it opens. "Unable to open your default e-mail folders. An unexpected error has occured. MAPI was unable to load information service LSMSSP.DLL. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured." If i reinstall the connector then it works fine. This was tested on two machine with similiar setup. I tried uninstalling the account first and Outlook wont let me. So now im basicly stuck with using the zimbra connector tell there is a real solution. Im sure i can dig in the registry and remove setting manually but that is not a solution for everyday users.

OS: Windows XP sp2
Outlook : Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6360) SP1

go back to using a non-zimbra mail profile

It took me a few minutes to figure out how to do that in the control panel >> mail >> show profiles >> either remove zimbra profile or edit it to not have it as its default. Is that the only way to fix that problem or is there a way for the uninstall to do that ?

currently the uninstaller does not remove profiles or data files. You have to do it manually.

I dont think the Outlook connector uninstall should remove the profile when uninstalling but I do think it should make a check to make sure the zimbra profile isnt set "always use this profile." and if so set "prompt for a profile to be used" so at least a user can easlier get back into outlook without it needing a dll.

I'm having a similar problem, I'm using this version of the connector: ZimbraOlkConnector-4.5.6_GA_1023_4.5.288.msi
and first time I installed it, it's telling me. "Unable to open your default e-mail folders. An unexpected error has occured. MAPI was unable to load information service LSMSSP.DLL. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured." is the message I'm getting.

did you recently uninstall a previous connector and put the 4.5.6 version on?

if so, uninstall the connector/follow the directions in this thread to switch the default profile-then reinstall

no, this is a test server i'm working off, and zimbra is new, and Outlook has been installed specifically for testing. I've currently got the connector completely uninstalled, and I've taken care of the default profile.
