In the webmail, only appears ONE appointment. But in Outlook appear repeated it. The diference is one appointment have the Zimbra Profile Name "Americo Medina" and the other appiontment have my email "americo@midomain.com".
i have a similar kind of problem here.
My user started to use the ZCO (version: 5.0.3066.18) with Office Outlook 2003. I imported her calendar (outlook 2003 .pst) to the zimbra calendar.
Some of her appointments are now dubbel and somehow linked.
Weird is that the webmail environment doesnt show 2 appointments only 1!
If you delete 1 of the 2 appointments in outlook, then both are deleted.
also the appointment in the webmail is deleted.
The other way arround: if you delete the appointment from the webmail, then only 1 appointment will be deleted in outlook.
This case is really strange, i cant put my finger on it what it could be...
Does anyone know what could couse this problem?
How did you import her calendar? Maybe you want to share it instead?
I am getting the same issue with my synced calendar. When I create an appt in outlook and send it to someone it logs the meeting in my calendar adn then within 10 seconds a second one arrives next to it. Apparently some users are getting a second invite from me too. If I try to delete either one via outlook it asks for me to delete and send a cancellation notice but not knowing if they got two or one I am fearful to just start cancelling meetings.
Not that big a deal in Outlook but on my blackberry via desktop syncing it is a real PITA to have tehse duel meetings all over the place.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Well -- you're on version 5 -- this is many years old, so even if there is a bug, we wouldn't be fixing it. I'm sure this issue doesn't exist anymore in versions 6 or 7.
