Default [SOLVED] Outlook will not save profile

Hello,

I'm running outlook 2003 on XP pro with SP2. Outlook 2003 is SP3. This setup was working fine with the Outlook / Zimbra connector 5.05 for a while then one day it started asking for the password and it would not accept anyting so I deleted the profile in Outlook and added a new Zimbra profile. Then when I attempted to re-create the account I got a message from Outlook saying:

'One or more changes could not be saved; the action could not be completed.'

and it will not let me save the zimbra account. I've tried uninstalling the connector and installing 5.02 and then I tried 5.06 and neither seems to work. When I uninstall and re-install Outlook and then install the connector again still I get the same error. Has anyone heard of this problem before?

Brian

I am having the same issue with Outlook 2007 + Vista + ZCS 5.0.7. The odd thing is that Outlook used to work fine and then one day I started Outlook and started seeing this behavior.

Default Fixed

You know what I checked and Outlook was not running SP3, so I installed SP3, and then it worked fine. I re-installed the 5.05 Outlook connector and it's back to normal.

Maybe there are some updates for Outlook 2007 that you need?

That wasn't it, my Outlook install is up to date. Oddly enough a magical Windows reboot solved everything. So odd....but thanks.

I'm glad it's resolved. It's crazy what windows will do and then give you some error that makes no sense... This is why I stick with the web when using zimbra, but I can't expect everyone in the office to do that.
