This same issue just appeared with another user - this one with an iPhone. Has anyone found a resolution to this yet?

You might want to look at this thread as well: Outlook Connector auto-trashing appointments

As noted in that thread, there's a fix that will appear in releases that should be coming out shortly, but it specifically targets ZCO. Does your user use Outlook?
