Default [SOLVED] Incorrect date when copying mail from one IMAP account to another

Hey Guys,

Have a funny issue where I have a number of users who have since migrated to our new Zimbra server (Version 5.0.2_GA_1975.RHEL5.NETWORK Jan 30, 2008) using Outlook 2007 and during the transition have moved IMAP folders from one account to another. Doing so the mail transferred across has the date set to the date it was copied (visible when using the webmail interface) however in Outlook it shows as the correct date.

I have yet to upgrade to 5.0.6 but does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem could be?

Thanks in advance,

Shan

Yeah. Outlook is not setting INTERNALDATE properly when it does an IMAP APPEND to add the message to the Zimbra server.

Tell your users to connect to the Zimbra IMAP server as "username/tb" or "username@yourcompany.com/tb" and then do the folder drag-and-drop. The /tb switch tells the Zimbra server to ignore what Outlook is telling it about the received date of the message and to use the Sent date instead.
