reoccurring tasks error

I have a user who has some reoccurring tasks.

There is now a task for every recurrance that could happen from now until 2099 (78,00 tasks in total) this is making outlook come to a crawl.


I can delete these manually via webmail but only being able to select tasks in groups of 100 will take a fair bit of time to remove them.

Outlook is not usable - I have tried creating a new profile but it would still choke when I when to view the tasks

Is there any way I can delete all tasks for a specifc user on the back end?
