Zimbra turns off appointment reminders

Hi All,

We have Zimbra 5.0.4, I have recently installed the newer version of outlook connector "ZimbraOlkConnector-5.0.3_GA_2101_5.0.2533.3.msi" but noticed that Zimbra has turned off the appointment reminder for most of my calendar entries.

Any thoughts?

That might be the key. Did you originally create these appointments in the web-client? If you create the appts in Outlook, the reminders should be honored.

The devs on that could tell you more, but I think since the web-client didn't yet support per appointment reminders we used to use the Outlook default of 15 minutes in this case; that was a bit of a hack so we might have decided to push for proper web-client support. I believe the workaround for ZCO reminders for web-client created events was removed somewhere in 5.0.x (again don't quote me on that) however Bug 21390 - Per-appointment reminder support in web client is now resolved for 5.0.5
