Default Calendar glitch with certian repeating appoinments

Cancel this!! I rebooted the Zimbra Server and now it is working.

Hi All: ZCS 5.0.4 network edtion, Windows XP Pro, Office 2003 sp3
Outlook has the ability to set a recuring appoinment "First week day of each month". This is broken? When I do it for 5 months the 5 DAYS after the start day have the appoinment not the first week day of each of the next 5 months.

Any suggestions?

It's a bug -- 20837. It affects, last day of month, first/last weekday, first/last weekend day, etc. It is set to be fixed in 5.0.5

Bug 20837 is now fixed. Outlook now creates these correctly, and they sync to Zimbra correctly. This will be out in 5.0.6, which should be out shortly.

There is now another bug that is not as critical -- bug 27888. This involves syncing from Zimbra to Outlook. The Zimbra Web client does not support this construct as far as the UI, but it displays these appointments correctly when they are synced from Outlook. If the web client somehow gets some input from another source (importing ICAL for example), that represents an appointment of this type, when Outlook syncs it, it will show incorrectly in Outlook. Also, if in the web client, you change the date of an occurrence of one of these appointments, it may not sync correctly to Outlook.

I will get this bug fixed before July as well.

Bug 27888 is now fixed, and the fix will be in 5.0.6. All Outlook issues with monthly and yearly "nth" appointments should now be fixed. Note that the web client does not support all Outlook possibilities (last day, second weekday, third weekend day, etc.), so some issues may still remain in the web client with these types of appointments Normally, it displays properly there, but the text of the recurrence can be incorrect.
