Default Turning OFF All Day Event reminders?

Is there a way to turn of the all day even reminders in Zimbra? I have Outlook2007 setup with calendar items containing all day events. In Outlook the items are fine, however when syncing from the Zimbra server to a WM6 mobile ALL of the all day events set a 15minute reminder before they begin. Is there a way to turn this "reminder" off? Since the PDA now reminds me at 23.45 before the all day event, which I don't want.

Has anyone come across similar behavior?

Just happended to see your post while searching for something else.
Also it is quite old I will give my 0.02.

I have the same problem with my mobile phone running active sync on Symbian.
As, in my case, I get these reminders as well for appointments where I did not set any reminders in Zimbra I fear that it is no Zimbra problem but problem with Activesync.

I posted hear about it in the Mobile connector forum and got no real helpful replies as well.

Hi,

It is a Zimbra issue. Since if I set the default reminder time in the ZimbraAdmin to "never" then I get the correct settings on my PDA. So if I enter a reminder in Outlook with a 15min reminder then my PDA sets it to 15mins as well. If I set an all day event in Outlook or the PDA then it gets synced to the other platform without the reminder being set. However if I do this from the ZimbraAdmin OR if I do not set the default reminder in Zimbra to never then my PDA gets messed up, the Outlook client does not.

OK, that really sounds like a Zimbra problem then. I did not pursue the issue any further.
Perhaps you can open a bug. If you post it here or in the mobile connector forum you will probably get some votes for it.

Minor usability suggestion:

Both Repeat: and Reminder: could be succeeded by checkboxes which, if unchecked, would deactivate the existing popup menu. "None" and "Never" could then be removed from the popup menu, and fewer/less precise clicks would be required to use the controls.
