Outlook not alerting on zimbra calendar appointments

After I installed ZCO for outlook 2007 on Vista, the calender appointments from zimbra show up in outlook but outlook does not alert me when these appointments are due.

I have set the default reminder option in outlook and also made zimbra the default profile in Mail profile settings.

Our users are missing meetings due to this issue. We are using NE pro edition to have this feature available!

Did you create these appointments in the Web client? Web client doesn't yet support reminders -- this is bug 21390. We used to use the Outlook default of 15 minutes in this case, but that was a hack. Now we are waiting for proper web client support. If you create the appts in Outlook, the reminders should be honored.

This is supposed to be fixed in 5.0.5.

Thank you for clearing that up. Yes, the appointments were created in the web client.

On a related issue, when I install ZCO for outlook, the calendar does not sync with iphone through iTunes. Removing ZCO and setting up a personal profile (pst) allows me to sync outlook calendar. Is that a known issue? These two are important features for us in ZCS Pro but we are unable to use it.

The iPhone not synching is a known issue (due to iTunes synching only with PST files).

You can try Funambol synching (need to JailBreak the iPhone) or wait firmware 2.0 gets released (end of June).
