Default Zimbra Outlook connector sending mail very slow

We are using zimbra outlook connector . Speed is very slow while sending attachement more then 1 MB.

I am using ADSL without any firewall.I am using Mcafe 8.5 also.
What could be the problem.

The problem is likely to the fact you're on an ADSL connection, what's the upload speed? Also using virus scanners on the machine can cause slow uploads, have you disabled McAfee extensions in Outlook?

I have 1MB adsl link , i am getting above 200 kbps upload speed.
Any other ISP mail link sends same email very fast except zimbra server.
I am not clear about your " have you disabled McAfee extensions in Outlook?" sentence.

Doesn't McAfee hook itself into Outlook to check email for viruses? When you say the speed is slow, how are you measuring it, where is your Zimbra server located and what sort of load is there on the server?
