Default Urgent Connector Issue Data missing / unsynched on Server

hi,

i have a user working with zco 5.0.2 and outlook 2003.
in the beginning everything synced fine, but in the meanwhile f.e. he has (in outlook) 23 emails in his inbox , but on the server there are 77 emails.

the same with folders. not everything is 1:1 the same.

are there any known issues about this ?

is there a possibility to resync his zdb-file and the server ?

the problem is, that i can't just delete the zdb-file, because a lot of his
changes (read emails, moved emails, etc.) would be gone than.

is there a possibility to resync his zdb-file and the server ?

please help - it's really urgent !!!

chris

can you verify that the server doesn't have a copy of these changes? read emails, moved messages, etc... if so, initial sync should fix the problem temporarily.

is it possible to get some logs so we can try to get to the bottom of the problem of messages not syncing to outlook?

Hi,

I have a similar problem on many PC (Outlook 2003 + connector 504). The synchronisation of folder is not functioning as well. The synchronisation seems to be only from server to Outlook and not from Outlook to server content.

So we have to synchronize the content of the zdb file to the server...Isn't it?

The only way I now to resolve this is to export to a pst file, delete the user in the server, recreate him and import the pst to the newly created account.

Have you a better way to perform this? Because we have some big mailbox...

Regards.
