We are getting the same problem. But it only happens when the shared item is named something other than "Calendar" and the client is using Outlook 2007.

Is there any progress? We are very close to migrate but we dont want to run in such problems.
Dose anyone have an idea if the bug is gonna be fixed soon?

I've read a other thread with same problem. In this writes anybody that in 5.0.6 the problem is still active. I've nothing read about 5.0.8 - but i must say the bug is really rare!

Default Same bug

It doesn't seem that rare to me.

I have it on 13 Outlook 2007 clients, and zimbra desktop is also not displaying shares on windows or linux.

5.0.8 ZCS
5.0.8 ZCO

Have submitted a bug, it's suggested it is fixed in 5.0.8. I'm not seeing any results.

Sorry for the dodgy PDF file. It was captured on two screens and only shows one when exported. you'll get the idea though. :-)

Hi Chimaster,

Same problem here, can you post the link to your Bug so we can all monitor it. We're on 5.0.8 and it still is an issue.

Thanks

David

I believe I got shares by going to File - Open - Other users mailbox. Certainly got calendars up from memory.

Default repeatable

Found more details to this bug now ...

New Account on OL07/WinXP

1) File -> Open -> Folder from other user ... // works fine
2) Move ZDB-Folders to other Partition (in the Zimbra-Connector) // must delete old zdbs and restart outlook ...
3) klick on calendar -> Calendars of other Users are disappeared
4) look in mail folders -> external folders are there
5) klick on external folder -> Error Message! // can't delete it
6) File -> Open -> Folder from other user is disabled

Error-Message: Unable to display Folder: old ZDB-Path (Profile-Path)

Anybody knows corrective?

Isn't it possible to have ZDBs on my personal path and show shared calendars at the same time?

Can anybody open a bug in bugzilla and/or post the link to this, please.

Smile Adding user to the OUTLOOK 2007 when an error "cannot display folder"

To correct the issue when you are trying to add a calendar, mailbox or contact shared item from your GAL and you get "cannot display folder".

Simply go to OUTLOOK --> FILE --> OPEN --> and choose the last one "Other user's Mailbox" this will access the GAL directly and set a folder for the user in outlook views. All the item that the newly attached user is sharing will be displayed in the proper view (calendar under calendar, contacts under contacts and shared folder within the outlook folder views)

Thanks

Alexandre
