No effect after costomize connector.msi with ZmCustomizeMsi.js

Hello,

I was trying to change servername and port in the connector.msi ver. 5.0.0_GA_1862_5.0.2428 with the customize script. After doing that and starting Outlook 2003, the configuration window for zimbra-server opend, but without any information the script set in the registry.
What is wrong ?

I assume you followed the instructions in the wiki? Did you run the installer in Step 4 to confirm the modifications were made?

Hello,

Yes I did, but there weren't any entries. I looked in the .msi file and the entries for setting up the registry existed. so the right entries are also in the registry.

I also tried version 4.5.9_GA_1451_4.5.402 of the installer and all changes were made correctly.

Does it work for you if you create a new profile?

No, I took a fresh system, installed outlook 2003, generated an new outlook account and defined it as standard profile, then I started outlook so outlook recieved some mails and then I closed outlook. After that I customized the msi and installed the connector but no informations were added in the confuguration window after restarting outlook.

After that create new profile manualy via Mail applet.
Do you see the customized data in this case?

No, I see nothing.

Would someone from zimbra please respond to this. I've experience the same behavior with ZmCustomizeMsi.msi. We're about to deploy this on about 700 desktops. I'd prefer to have the users enter a little data as possible.
