Default missing mail after upgrade

We're in the midst of evaluating Zimbra, and upgraded from 4.5.10 to 5.0 in January.

We're seeing problems with every client having mail that won't sync (i.e. it's visible in webmail or via IMAP, but won't sync into Outlook).

Here's an example timeline:

User has a VM running XP under OSX & last had it running on 12/9/2007

We upgraded from 4.5.10 5.0 on 1/9/2008

Today the user ran the ZCO installer to upgrade to the latest ZCO and then started Outlook.

No mail from between 12/9/2007 and today will sync. Any new mail that comes in shows up right away.

Anyone else seen this?

Directions on how to get ZCO logs are here: Outlook Troubleshooting Options - Zimbra :: Wiki
(If they're too private for the forums -which I imagine they probably are minus any glaring errors you'd like to post that might give us some troubleshooting ideas- attaching them to your support case will help.)

I grabbed a log of starting Outlook, scrolling back to where the mail is missing and opening a few messages before/after the time. The 'hole' in question is 1/9/08 between 3-4pm and 7pm or so.

I used the new option in the ZCO Log tool to upload the log file. It's
zco.log-20080123T205446.209-OUTLOOK.EXE-548

but let me know if you can't find it.

FYI, we have 3 systems all showing the same symptoms (but with different amounts of mail missing).

the Outlook calendar does not show all of the mail that the Zimbra web interface shows.

Is the mail that is missing from around the time of an upgrade (either server or ZCO)?

Default all we ever thing about is mail

We saw chunks of mail mail missing after the upgrade. I don't have the dates periods but it was reported by at least two users.
