Default Deleting messages in Shared Mailboxes

Hi,

We have a strange situation:

User1 shares his mailbox with User2

User2 then deletes a message in User1's mailbox and the deleted email is moved into User2's trash.

Why is trash not preserved with the shared mailbox?

Has anyone a workaround for this.

Regards

Eden

we did it this way because you may not have read/write access to user1's trash folder. Zimbra will let you add it to user1's trash even if you don't have explicit write access, but if you don't have read/delete access to user1's trash, undelete won't work.

Is there something wrong with it moving to user1's trash?

Hi,

I thought that would be the reason - however the problem is that in a shared environment, other users than the one who deleted the mail may need to be able to retreieve the deleted mail

Any ideas?

Regards
