Default Itunes crashing when syncing outlook calendar

I use Zimbra on a network managing a few remote computers (that is the only was I can describe it as I am merely and attorney relying on smarter IT folks.)

Because I don't have a fancy smartphone anymore, I want to sync my contacts and calendar onto my ipod. After some struggling, the contacts work - although I have 4 of each, but they are there.

THe calendar does not work, and each time I try to make it work it just shuts down itunes. I have exhausted the apple care people and they have pointed to Zimbra. Looking at the Zimbra site, I pretty much see stuff about iphones, which I don't have, and references to an outlook connector message, which I don't get.

What I get is an abrupt close of itunes and a message from Zimbra about how it cannot read some itunes files.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the forums,

Could you post your iTunes, ZCO, and Outlook version strings?
