interesting, i was looking at the code for that and we check for an empty auth token before issuing the file upload request. if there is no auth token, we re-auth.

can you do the following?
1) check the profile (control panel mail applet) to make sure that all the info in there is correct for this user
2) restart outlook
3) send/receive and check to see if they are getting new mail, appts, etc...
4) grab some more logs around this file upload exception and get them to us.

please enable http logging and verbose logging in the logging control applet.
you can do this by posting them, private messaging me or opening a support incident.
i'm still hunting for a bug that describes this situation. if you open a support incident, they can file a bug for you.

I just set our accounting group up with zimbra... They are using Outlook 2003 as the client and and the latest zim outlook connector. They get this error every other time they try send an automatic report from quickbooks. Quickbooks auto populates the email in outlook with email address and subject/Body/Attachment and sends the email. About half of every email sent vi quickbooks has this error. Never when the user sends. I will post log files later.

yeah...getting us the logs would be the best thing to do in this situation. hopefully they'll tell us exactly what is going wrong.
please enable all options in the log control, clear out old logs, and then try to reproduce.

I still get this error quite frequently when I am in a Microsoft Office application (eg. Microsoft Word, 2003) and do File -> Send To -> Mail Recipient (as attachment). I have logs if that helps.

Here is another snipit from the Log file that looked a bit odd.
Looks like there is some strange Chars there...and not sure what the error 87 is.

Keep in mind.. This happens when the user is in Quick books and then tries to send a report vi QB report tool. The tool gives the option to send via Outlook and then an email pops up with the pdf file attached and a subject line. The end user just has to add an email address to send too. Seems like header must be currupt or something.

I have seen this error several times. Each case the user tried to send via Excel or Word application:

File> send to > mail recipient (as Attachment) ...

The error message suggest the file size is too large, however in each case for me the attachment was < 100Kb

We were able to successfully send the attachment by manually attaching to a new mail message.

Any update on a bug status or resolution?
