Limit Attachments

I have setup the max attachment size to 10MB in Zimbra. However, users are still trying to send 10MB + files. Is there away to prevent this because it seems to be slowing up the server?

At least thru javascript, there is no way of knowing the size of a file selected in the upload input field. So preventing a user from uploading a large file cannot be done w/o integrating some 3rd party extension (i.e. flash, activeX) unfortunately.

So there is no build in feature in Outlook to limit this?

As of today, server enforces the size limit. There are plans to do this on the client side. See this bug: Bug 16630 - Enforce maxUploadSize and maxMessageSize locally
