Default [SOLVED] Messages Stuck in outbox, outlook creates "outbox1" folder

Just this morning, when any user trys to send an email through outlook, outlook creates a second folder called "outbox1" and the messages sit in there.

Recreating the connection to the server results in the deletion of the outbox1 folder but messages now sit in the outbox and do not send. Receiving is fine. Sending from web client fine. Just backing up and trying upgrade to 4.5.7 to see if helps. any thoughts soon would be greatly appreciated.

submitted a support request but wish to see if anyone else had this issue.

have "repaired zco"

Login to the webclient and make sure there is no folder called "outbox", if there is delete it. Login to Outlook and sync. restart outlook.

Outbox1 should be gone and you should no be able to send/recv fine.

So in the webclient you are sure there are no outbox folders? Then you restarted Outlook, sync'd and then restarted outlook again?

that is correct.

in the mean time during upgrade to the latest version it failed again.

this happened the last time we tried to upgrade this server. Last time you guys logged in remotely and fixed the issue.

Default Solved....

We had to reinstall some old software, the old software replacing some Internet Explorer files, repairing IE broke Office, Repairing office fixed this issue.
