Probably. I don't think we'd cut off most of our current user base by discontinuing the support for Outlook 2003.

Guys,

It seems like half the people got this setup working and half didn't. Is there anything concrete that seems to get this working? We have a client using Vista and Office 2007. They've disabled the UAC control and installed the 5.0 Beta connector. It installs but Outlook crashes when launched. They can't get it working on 2 of their systems. Ironically, on one or two other machines, it is working. Thoughts?

Tim

BCM and ZCO Beta do not seem to play nice together. I have the same issue with the current Beta, it works about half the time.

I hope this gets fixed when the final 5.0 comes out because most of our users are running BCM with OL 2007.

Default Beta 1 Download????

The overview at the beginning of this thread says:
Getting the 5.0 Connector Beta

Reminder— betas are pre-production software; please do not deploy this in your production environments! It is for EVALUATION ONLY.

Users can get the 5.0 Connector v5.0.306 preview beta by visiting the Zimbra Support Portal. Inside you will find a link in the Support Menu on the left for ‘ZCO 5 Beta’ to download it.

Later, the full Connector 5.0 beta will ship as part of the ZCS 5.0 Release Candidate. The Connector can be found in the web Admin Console in the Downloads tab.
In reality, the portal only has the RC2-based connector, though. Since our server is still 4.5.6 for a while longer I need the v5.0.306 preview beta connector. Does anyone have a link for that version?

Default Works

The connector on the support portal works with Outlook 2007 and Zimbra 4.5.6, so I don't think the claim that it only works with V5 and later is accurate.

The Outlook Connector is on your own Zimbra 5.x server in the Admin UI on the Downloads page.

By now you shoudn't be using v5.0.306 with 4.5server anymore. You should upgrade to 5.0.x server and latest 5.0.x ZCO.
