Outlook 03 - Connector Issue

I've installed our latest connector (ZimbraOlkConnector-4.5.6_GA_1023_4.5.288.msi) a few hundred times without any errors. Ofcoarse, the second I go to install it on my own PC, it doesn't work. The error reads as follows:

The installer was interrupted before ZCS Connector for Outlook could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again. Click "Close" to exit.

I ran the same installer with the /l log.txt so I could see the log file. Here's the log:

Please recreate logs with /lv log.txt
This will enable debug logging

Same result... diff log. I had to shorten the log because this forum wouldn't allow that many characters.

Actually this log does not contain debug logs.
But from these logs i can only say that installer failed to detect outlook version.

with debug logging enabled there should be
"CA LOG:" entries in the logs file.
That is debug messages from our custom installer actions.

I'm not sure how to get the CA LOG but it wasn't the /lv switch. I even tried it again. I wonder why it doesn't see my version of Outlook. I've been running 03 (fully patched) and so has the rest of our enterprise network. It's fine on just about every PC. Just a few of these cases.

But to your problem there can be some registry entries missing. that is why i ned the debug logs. They give me details.

there should be strings like that

and

Still no logging.
It seem by some reason msi does not log our debugging output. without it i cannot say anything.

To check if registry is ok
run regedit /e hkcr.txt HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
zip hkcr.txt and send me to henry@zimbra.com
