What version of the zimbra server are you running against?

The migration wizard always authenticates with the admin account (the information provided in the second step of the wizard).

If you are able to get past the second screen, the authentication should succeed during the import phase.

Is the target account provisioned? Did you provision it with the migration wizard? Was the account disabled by accident?

You can see why the auth failed by enabling the WinHttp tracing to see the actual soap request/response. See this post on how to enable WinHttp tracing.

Remove any sensitive information from the WinHttp trace file and post it here (or just the response to the AuthRequest that failed).

network beta 2(?). authentication seems to be working. i tried an incorrect password and it threw an error that doesn't happen with the correct admin pasword. i get past all the prompts, it recognizes an account that was provisionrd before running the wizard and it is not disabled. i'll post the trace in a bit.

Default Using Config.xml for cmd line migration

I have successfully used the config.xml file to automate the migration of Outlook.pst.

ZCSPSTImportWizard-6.0.7_GA_2470.exe config.xml

I use the /Date attribute to limit how much email is moved.

I need to move just a few days of email, BUT all the Calendar and Contact entries..

Any one know how to migration everything except email message using this approach?
The GUI lets you do this by unchecking boxes.
I need to do this at the cmd line.

Thanks...

You would do something like this in the XML:

<ZCSImport>
<Options>
<importMails>0</importMails>
<importContacts>1</importContacts>
<importCalendar>1</importCalendar>
</Options>
.
.
</ZCSImport>

The XML stuff has changed over various versions. Your version looks pretty old, but generally, running a newer import wizard is fine. So you should get a version 7 wizard.

Thanks for the reply....
1. Are these xml options only in Version 7 of Wizard?
I tried it with ZCSPSTImportWizard-6.0.7_GA_2470.. didn't appear to work
if so,
2. Can I use Version 7 of Wizard on a Version 6.? of Zimbra ?

Yes -- generally with the wizards, we don't care. Using a version 7 wizard with on a version 6 zimbra is ok. When wizards add new functionality, it's not the type of thing that would cause a problem with old servers. Note that we are totally redoing the wizards for 8.0

Great I will give it a try.
Can you point me to documentation on the V7 xml config?
or
1. Can I have 2 <Options> stanzas? One that will do all Calendar and Contacts, like you suggested, and the other that will do Messages, with the addition of a <startDate>?
