Default Body of emails blank

Office 2003 SP2
Outlook connector: started with 4.5.6, eventually moved on to 4.5.7 hoping it would clear up.

This is only happening to 1 user.

With 4.5.6, it seemed that only some emails were coming in with no text in the body (and the webmail was displaying them just fine).

Just installed 4.5.7 and removed zimbra.zdb (to force a resync) and now NONE of the emails have any text.

anybody have any thoughts?

Thank you,
Nutz

Default outlook plug ins?

Hi,

Is there a virus scanner installed against Outlook? This could be causing the problems. If not, are there any other plug ins installed?
ZCO logs with http trace enabled would also be nice so we could see the MIME that is being sent by the server.

Thanks.

User did have AVG installed and running against Outlook. I have removed the Email scanner and no immediate change, deleted the zdb file and it LOOKS to be doing better. I will keep an eye on it today.

Thank you,
Nutz

That was most likely the problem. Please contact support and let them know the system information (including versions) of Outlook, AVG, etc...

Thanks!

Hi,

the problem is AVG. I was working with some of your guys to replicate the problem (shortly before 4.5 release), but it seems no solution is found yet.
