Error Installing Outlook Connector

It seems that you problem is the same as in this very post
errors-installing-outlook-connector
the mapisvc.inf file is corrupted by some third party installer.
It does not contain necessary entries for Zimbra connector.

I'm also getting the installer interrupted error when I attempt to install the ZCS Outlook Connector.
I'm running Windows XP SP2 and Outlook 2007.

I tried replacing the content of my
C:\Program Files\Common Files\SYSTEM\MSMAPI\1033\Mapisvc.inf
with the the file posted in the forum from 08-15-07, but still no go.

The Zimbra profile is not being created. Any help would be greatly apprecated. We are in the middle of a rollout of ZCS and we have a few users that need to use outlook.

4.5.x installer does not support Outlook 2007.

You should not do that.
I compiled that version for Outlook 2003 especially for the very version of Mapisvc.inf that was posted.
Outlook 2007 does not have such entries in this file.

So you can break installation of third party providers if they are installed by replacing Mapisvc.inf file.

Ok, thanks for the info, I'll switch the mapi file back. Is there an installer somewhere that works with Outlook 2007? From previous posts I assumed that the Outlook connector worked with 2007. Or is there another install procedure?
