I've found that on all of the machines that I was having the issue on, the Sharing addin was somehow disabled. How it got there is beyond me because nobody here would have gotten the idea to manually disable it. In one case I had to go set the registry key (which I can't remember exactly right now) to 3 by hand as no plugins were listed as disabled.

Did that resolve that issue of the debug error?

Re-enabling it did seem to clear it up after a restart of Outlook. I would still love to know how it got set in the first place though.

Its been somewhat of a myster to us, but from what we can tell, if outlook crashes it may disable all the add-ins.

FWIW, in 5.0 on startup we detect if the add-in is loaded and if not prompt the the user to re-enable it (so you don't have to regedit your way to happiness).

My user's Outlook doesn't crash when the debug issue occurs. The debug error always comes up when she goes to send an email. She hits ignore and the message sends, however it's pretty annoying having to deal with that debug popping up.

My users don't crash either, unless they would hit retry or cancel. My guess here is that it crashed *at some point* and now they're dealing with the fallout.

I could certainly see that being the case. I'd really like to know what is causing that debug error in the first place.

I am still experiencing the same issues as well....still the only resolution was to downgrade back to 4.5.5. Also I did not have an option for a sharing addin

Check the registry as listed here:
    EnableSharingAddin - ZimbraWiki

I had one user that didn't have any options for disabled addins, but on checking his registry the value was 2. I don't honestly know what load mode that's supposed to define, but it's not right. Changing to 3 worked.

Default registry set to 3 and enabled plugin/ still not working

I have a user with the debug window popping up on send who shows that the registry was already set at 3, and the Zimbra Client Extension was already enabled. Still this behavior occurs. Has anyone else seen/dealt with this?
